Recover forgotten pattern lock on your eAndroid device
The pattern lock on your device helps you to protect your device from any unauthorized usage. Whenever a device is locked by a pattern or password, you can only make emergency calls from it. Since we are humans, it is naturally not possible to remember everything. Thus it often happens that we forgot our passwords and bypass codes or maybe someone would have changed it without notifying you.
In that case you have an option to know the forgotten pattern by entering the wrong pattern 5 times and then entering your Google account credentials to unlock your phone. But you can do so only if you have access to an internet connection. I usually keep my mobile network off in order to prevent the unnecessary usage of my phone that reduces the battery power of my device. The other day I forgot the unlocked pattern of my phone and wasn’t able to get through the unlock screen of the device.
I had an option to reboot my phone but there were some important information in my phone that would get deleted because of the reboot. Luckily my phone was rooted and what I did is mentioned below with which one can easily go through the unlock screen of his phone in such similar situation. However, to use this method, it is important that your phone is rooted otherwise you cannot do anything except rebooting your phone. So coming back to the point, to use the method of procuring the unlock pattern of the device, you are required to install an application known as SMS Bypass.

It is a simple and a free application for Android devices, that allows you to bypass the locking pattern remotely by sending a SMS reset code. The default code of this application is 1234 that can be changed anytime. To reset the lock screen of your device, you have to send the reset code followed by the message “reset” from another phone to your Android phone.
One important thing to note is that while typing the message you have to keep a space between the code and “reset”. Moreover the secret is code is case sensitive. However if anyhow you still see the gesture on your device, then don’t worry. Just try any random pattern and it should unlock.
